Fight off an invading army and their giant beasts in Thunder Attack by Amusement Source International.

At its heart, Thunder Attack is a classic shooting game, featuring mounted guns and multiple action-packed levels to enjoy. The mounted guns you find here are unlike any you’ve probably come across in arcades before – not only are they huge (but easy to control), they also feature an internal mechanism that makes it appear as though they are firing bullets. Protected behind a layer of plexiglass, this effect not only looks and sounds cool, it provides some shaking feedback to the weapon. The game also has a padded oil drum seat, so that customers can play in comfort.

In-game, both enemy soldiers and giant creatures will attack your position, requiring you to use not only your skill, but some strategy thanks to a unique card-based power-up system. Each time you play, the game will vend a card. There are eight cards to collect and use; and operators can recycle them into the game! Each gun will give the player a quick firepower advantage, which they can switch to by using the thumb button on the gun.
