Based upon the 1932 film that started it all, players will dive into a heart-pounding adventure with Stern’s take on the iconic King Kong franchise. Join Ann Darrow and Jack Driscoll on a wild ride from the untamed jungles of Terror Island to the chaotic streets of New York City, with four flippers at your command. Shoot at the 3D sclupted Gong temple entrance to summon Kong, dodge the Spider magnetic trap in “The Pit,” and soar through the helix-shaped Biplane ramp while locking balls into the NYC subway car. With fast-paced gameplay, vivid hand-drawn art from three top artists, and Stern’s Insider Connected™ for global challenges, this and the LE version of the game provide the ultimate experience for Kong fans.

The Premium & LE models offer more bang for your buck, starting with an animatronic King Kong toy in the upper right playfield that reacts to gameplay; an animated Biplane toy; a giant 3D sculpted Spider toy that “attacks” the pinball; a physical ball lock within the NYC subway car; a left outlane diverter in the lower part of the playfield, and a unique art package. LEs are limited to 932 units, feature a shaker motor, and have some other goodies that make it perfect for Kong enthusiasts, but may not be the best option for locations. We would recommend either the Premium or the Pro model for a commercial game room.
