Spider-Man Vault Edition takes the 2007 table layout and “remastered” it with a completely new art package and software animations to match. That package is based on the Ultimate Spider-Man comic book series that ran from 2000-2009 instead of the Sam Rami film trilogy that was released between 2002-2007.

The table features the enhanced gameplay over the original thanks to several new features. These mainly deal with tailoring the game to fit with the comic book than the films including new custom-molded toys; new dot matrix art & animations; new custom speech, two new soundtracks along with sound effects; new mode events and several new hardware improvements based on customer feedback from the previous release. Durability improvements include: steel plastic protectors around Sandman & pop-bumper area; playfield protection around Doc Ock, Sandman, webslinger (including new ball guides); improved ramp guards and a new anti-wear Doc Ock magnet assembly.

All-in-all, if there is one Spider-Man pinball edition you’ve been looking for, the Vault Edition is where its at!
