Description

The G.H.O.S.T. squad is back in Sega’s Operation G.H.O.S.T.! This is a sequel to the popular GHOST Squad video arcade game that had been released in 2004.

In Operation G.H.O.S.T., you once again take up arms as highly trained special forces who are out to stop terrorists from wreaking havoc on the public. Players must use precision shooting and quick reflexes to complete the mission, guided by their detailed firearm and Operation G.H.O.S.T’.s unique marquee targeting system. The light-gun that you wield features a switch to change between Full Auto, 3-round burst and semi-auto, each with a crosshair change to indicate which firing mode is currently selected. It also features a speaker within the gun so that players can hear vocal orders more clearly and an ‘action’ button that allows you to activate Real-Time Tactical Orders (RTOs) when they appear at the top of the screen. Be warned though, since RTOs make the game a little easier, that means that your score will suffer! 

Sega originally produced this game in 55″ and 42″ upright models; presently the 42″ upright is available in limited quantities while 55″ has been replaced by Target Bravo: Operation G.H.O.S.T., an enhancement to this release that launched in 2017.
