Barry O’s Barbeque Challenge provides an atypical game theme to the pinball world – BBQ and grilling! Become a BBQ chef set on proving your worth in the world of competitive grilling. Select a meat, then sauce it up to the right level (“target” saucing is shown on the top screen) by hitting the correct shots on the playfield. With a simple game layout, this is a game that both newcomers and seasoned veterans of pinball can enjoy.

You might be asking, who is “Barry O?” He was one of pinball’s most influential game designers, creating titles like Gorgar, Pinbot, Taxi, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the game-changing Space Shuttle, and many more. He passed away in 2022; this game stands as a final nod to his many contributions to gaming. This was also a game he had been working on when he died. American Pinball added his name & likeness to it afterwards in his honor.
