The Hammer is a strength tester similar to what you might find on the midway of a theme park or carnival, just downsized to fit the needs of an arcade or other venue that wants to make the most out of monetizing their free space. It is also available in different colors:

To play, credit up the machine, push start, then grab the soft mallet and prepare yourself to hit the disc target as hard as you can. Once hit, the game will measure the force that it was hit with, rewarding a score and also showing what you might win on the light-up wheel (a free credit or tickets).

Like other strength testing games, the Hammer is a great way to incentivize players to compete with their friends, or just to show off. The system also has adjustable difficulty, so you can tailor the game to the needs of the venue.
