January has wrapped up with some notable release news for the arcade industry. Bandai Namco Amusements has officially begun shipping two games that made their debut at IAAPA 2025: the high-end motorcycle racer Speed Rider 4DX and the family-focused light-gun title Mini World Motion. While both target very different audiences, they reflect two important trends in the current arcade market: premium, experience-driven attractions and approachable, kid-friendly motion games designed for broader appeal.
Speed Rider 4DX Raises the Bar for Arcade Motorcycle Racers
Speed Rider 4DX is the latest entry in IGS’s long-running Speed Rider series, and it marks a significant evolution over previous installments. First shown publicly at AAA 2025 in China and later at IAAPA 2025, the game generated attention not only for its visuals, but for its new hardware-driven gameplay mechanics. While there was some early confusion regarding distribution, Bandai Namco Amusements is the principle reps for this game in North America, with Sega Amusements covering the UK and parts of Europe. You can purchase this game from PrimeTime Amusements and we’ll take care of you no matter where you are.

At its core, Speed Rider 4DX is an arcade-exclusive superbike racing game built around spectacle and physical interaction. The cabinet features twin motorcycle stations housed in a single unit, each mounted on a motion base designed to replicate the feel of the road. Players race across 12 tracks set in six major cities, choosing from eight different bikes, with more promised via free software updates.
What truly sets Speed Rider 4DX apart, however, is its controller platform. In addition to the expected lean sensors and throttle controls, the bike introduces a first-of-its-kind drift-slide mechanic. When players apply the brake, the physical bike itself unlocks and slides laterally, mirroring the on-screen drift. This creates a sensation that blurs the line between traditional arcade racing and simulation, and it’s not something that can be replicated in home setups.
The presentation reinforces the premium nature of the game. Each station includes a 55-inch 4K display running at 60 frames per second, paired with a 4.1-channel surround sound system, wind effects, animated LED wheels, and a large microLED billboard that doubles as a marquee and secondary display for attract mode and tournament information. A built-in player camera also allows riders to see themselves represented in-game.
According to distributor feedback, pricing for Speed Rider 4DX is expected to land around the $36,000 range, positioning it firmly as a flagship attraction for larger arcades, FECs, and location-based entertainment venues looking for a standout racing experience.
Mini World Motion Brings a Kid-Friendly Shooter with a Twist
On the other end of the spectrum is Mini World Motion, a light-gun game developed by Superwin and distributed by Bandai Namco Amusements. Designed primarily with younger players in mind, Mini World Motion is based on the Mini World IP, a popular block-style franchise in China often compared to Minecraft.

Unlike most modern light-gun games, Mini World Motion supports up to three players simultaneously, thanks to its bench-style seating rather than individual chairs. The cabinet itself is an environmental deluxe design, featuring bright colors, RGB LED accents, and a motion base powered by an air compressor. This setup allows all three players to experience movement together as they progress through the game’s six selectable levels.
Gameplay revolves around blasting enemies with mounted cannons, collecting power-ups, and surviving waves of threats in a colorful, blocky world. The cannons use Superwin’s “front feedback” technology, delivering strong kickback through solenoids to enhance the tactile feel of shooting. Wind blowers and a 65-inch HD screen further add to the sensory experience.
Mini World Motion also supports ticket redemption, making it especially attractive for family entertainment centers. Pricing is reportedly around $20,000, though this may vary depending on the distributor.
Two Different Games, One Clear Strategy
With Speed Rider 4DX and Mini World Motion now shipping, Bandai Namco Amusements is covering two key segments of the arcade market. Speed Rider 4DX targets locations looking for a premium, headline-grabbing attraction that emphasizes realism, physical feedback, and high production value. Mini World Motion, by contrast, focuses on accessibility, group play, and younger audiences, while still incorporating motion and feedback elements that elevate it above standard shooters.
Together, these releases highlight how modern arcades continue to differentiate themselves through experiences that can’t be replicated at home, whether through advanced hardware mechanics or social, motion-driven gameplay.
