Several years have passed since the last Speed Rider release, and Speed Rider 4DX doesn’t disappoint by taking things to a whole new level. While the basics of motorcycle racing, great music, and modern graphics are all in place, this incorporates new hardware features that truly sets the game apart from the competition – and that includes home games.

While this includes a life-sized motorcycle swivel bike for a controller, and also uses a motion base to recreate the feel of the road, these bikes have a unique drift mechanic – the actual bike itself can slide to either side, activating the drift mechanic in the game itself. This blurs the line between just a game and a simulator, equaling fantastic earnings.

For the basics, there are 12 tracks to race, and 8 bikers/motorcycles to choose from, with more becoming available in the future with a free software update. The units ship as a single Twin unit (2 player stations in one cabinet) and can link another Twin together to support up to 4 players at once. This is further bolstered by the powerful 4.1ch audio system, a 55″ 4K screen. It also features a microLED billboard that serves as both a marquee and second display, which is great for bystanders.
