Truckin’ ain’t an easy job, but if you’ve got what it takes, then you’ll be crowned The King of Route 66 in this big rig trucking adventure by Sega.

The King of Route 66 is the first arcade game to focus on big rigs, and the cabinet design reflects that in great fashion. Modeled after an 18-wheeler semi, plays take control of their rig with a giant steering wheel. The feel is boosted by a seat subwoofer that thumps the player for the kind of feedback you only get in arcades. Players also have a working air horn and even a CB Radio to complete that authentic feel!

The game itself offers 5 truck driver characters to choose from, each of which is vying to become the King of Route 66. Starting at Chicago, you have multiple legs on the journey to Los Angeles, where your load needs to arrive not just on time, but before your rivals get there.
