Mega Shot follows Quick Shot and Big Shot, but true to its name, it’s even bigger and badder than its cousins. Players take control of a realistic rifle to dispatch the on-screen virtual target or enemies within the time limit. While Quick and Big Shot both have a limited number of bullets for the players to fire, Mega Shot is instead based upon time, due to the automatic fire feature that eats up those bullets fast! Locations can adjust the timer to fit the needs of their location.

This rifle is no ordinary controller. Machined out of aluminum, and using a realistic grip and a real gun scope, this provides the most realistic representation for such gameplay you can find on the market today. Force feedback is provided to both connected guns via air compression. Just the look alone will draw people in to give it a play.

The software is similar to the classic Police Trainer arcade game. There are six scenarios that will put your accuracy and speed shooting skills to the test. This includes hitting targets in an abandoned warehouse scenario and battling against terrorists in an urban setting. To play best, players need to use a combination of the real scope and the virtual zoom (activated by the button on the gun).

Thanks to Arcade Heroes, here are details on the Mega Shot’s levels. These are different from the Quick/Big Shot games, again tailored to operate with a different type of controller:

• Skeet shooting. This level operates as a higher resolution on the DX model to take advantage of the larger screen space
• Bottle shooting. Shoot bottles in a warehouse
• “Wasteland” sniper scenario. This one plays like a modern Silent Scope.
• Rats. Take out the many rats crawling all over the warehouse
• Drones. Blast drones out of the sky.
• Cardboard pop-ups. More of a Police Trainer/Mad Bullets scenario
