Alley Hoops takes the classic arcade basketball gameplay and upgrades it with sleek LED lighting and a digital backboard. This makes for a more interactive and entertaining experience that will bring players back again and again. Players face multiple rounds of play, where they must hit a certain score to progress onto the next round. 3D animations of characters playing basketball during the attract mode along with the color changing LED lightshow, engages with bystanders and gets them to play. This also makes for a more entertaining game experience, since the video screen allows for a more captivating presentation than your normal basketball arcade system.

The Deluxe model adds a “stadium-style ceiling” which features a mirror built into it. This makes for a more exciting look
