Sega brings another classic toy to the amusement scene with Simon Arcade.

The Simon toy has been known to kids since it hit the market in 1978, and it’s been entertaining millions of people ever since. Now, the iconic look and name lands in the arcade thanks to Sega and Hasbro, who also collaborated on the hit Bop It! arcade game from a couple of years ago.

This edition of the concept gives Simon a ball toss twist. Players must get as many balls as possible through the lit colored targets before the timer runs out. Quick reactions reward bigger scores, and landing five correct targets in a row unlocks extra points. Get to the Bonus Target level, which unlocks the ultimate brain-teaser with the Super Bonus round. This really plays on Here, players must memorize a flashing light sequence, then they have repeat it by throwing balls into the correct targets and order before the time expires. It’s a thrilling test of memory, timing, and precision that keeps players on their toes, and coming back for more.
