Description

Grab your oars and get ready for a whitewater adventure of a lifetime in Namco’s Rapid River motion simulator arcade game!

Offering fantasy river rafting like only arcades can provide, players of all ages can attempt to conquer the virtual rivers alone or together with a friend. The unique game cabinet is equipped with a 50″ screen, “raft” shaped motion seat, simple, intuitive paddle controls and viewpoint button for first or third person views. The pneumatic seat movement adds to the realism to the game by recreating the feel of sudden bumps and falls you would find on a waterway.

As players progress through the game, they can chose different branching paths to explore. This includes rafting on the Nile, taking on a glacier and even Dinosaurland, with a variety of reptiles joining you along the way. Check out this map of the riverways available in the game:

– Namco’s Rapid River is no longer in production, having been released in 1997. Please call us about present availability. All used models pass through PrimeTime Amusement’s “Certified Pre-Owned” program, which guarantees that the game will be completely refurbished and ready to operate upon arrival.
