Merchandisers are making a comeback and what better way to jump back in than with The Hand by UNIS.

The Hand uses the same principle found with other merchandisers where users play a simple game to try and win the prize. At their control is a giant metal hand which can be moved side-to-side using the joystick; Once lined up, press and hold the button to raise the hand. Once released on the button, the hand moves forward in an attempt to push the prize in the box out. If it fits perfectly, the prize will fall in the back and down to the prize hole below. If not, the player has to add a new credit and try again.

Thanks to this design, operators can still offer large prizes if they wish but no worry about the prize getting stuck on a rod.
