Ker Plop is a skill-based prize redemption game which uses a rotary clip platform as the principle game mechanic, but expands on it in new ways. For that part of the game, the rotary platform is always spinning from right-to-left, and the player must press the button at the right moment to make it stop. A mechanism will move down and if properly lined up, will push the clip open, releasing the prize attached to it. If there is no prize on the clip, or the presser is not lined up, then the user has to try again.

Where Ker Plop changes things, is that it has five additional prize doors – two large ones on top, three small ones on the bottom. You can get a clip released with a key to one of the doors (each designated with a letter). This drives additional play as customers will play for the bigger, fancier prizes.
