Description

There are many ways to participate in Virtual Reality these days, but most of them take up a lot of space and budget. Enter Gold & Mace by Boxblaster and Benchmark Games.

This platform is designed as a single-player station that does not require an attendant to operate. Once credits are inserted, the player can grab the VR headset and controllers which are at an easy grasp with the holders at waist level. The controllers have been engineered to handle the rigors of an arcade environment with ultra-thick cables and padding.

In the game itself, your fortress is being invaded by an opposing army, who has decided that the way to win is throwing all of their soldiers over the wall using a catapult! Acting as a defender, you must grab these soldiers and toss them back, along with blocking bombs. As gameplay progresses, players gain weapons including swords, maces, spears and more to slash, stab & bash the invaders back. Collect gold along the way and rack up the points!
