Those furious fowl are back, and more bombastic than ever with Angry Birds Boom! by Play Mechanix and Raw Thrills.

Angry Birds Boom! continues bringing the popular franchise to arcades, but does so in a way unlike has been seen before. Players grab one of the seats to the game, then controls the action using either the Red or Chuck shaped controller. That’s right – these look just like the birds from the game. The controllers themselves use the same technology that drives Raw Thrills’ other mounted gun games but makes the players feel like they are truly launching either Red or Chuck straight into the action.

The game features 9 scenes of gameplay, although only 3+1 boss fight are played during any given credit. The next game to be played on the machine will play a different set of 3 and the other boss fight, then on the next continue the last 3 while returning to the first boss. It cycles through these games as a way to drive repeat play. The game is unique to the Angry Birds series and uses high quality 3D graphics. Play for tickets or just for points – the venue can set it up to their liking.
