Arcade1Up’s ‘Golden Tee Arcade Machine 3D Edition’ Cabinet Brings the Competitive Arcade Golf Game to a Bite-Sized Format

Okay, maybe it’s not literally a “bite-sized” version but this is quite a bit of good news, especially if you’re a big fan of Golden Tee Golf. As one of the best-selling full-sized arcade cabinets on the market, Arcade1Up is adding the highly competitive golf arcade game to their lineup of smaller, home-focused cabinets.

For those who are unfamiliar, Golden Tee Golf has been one of the staple competitive games in the arcade scene for the past few years. This title combines the intricacies of its complex gameplay mechanics revolving around its trackball-based shot system, with all the excitement of competitive golf, and with a few extra features like tons of different courses, cosmetic unlockables, and much more, sprinkled in for good measure. 

As is the case with most Arcade1Up products, the Golden Tee Arcade Machine 3D Edition features a smaller profile than a typical Golden Tee game, though notably and for the first time, it’s not as small as their other games, being only 66” tall, but featuring all the perks, systems, and controls of the original. What’s more, despite its similarities to other titles in Arcade1Up’s catalog, Golden Tee 3D features one other important distinction, it features a large 19” display, which is a first for the company.

This game’s smaller size, however, does not take away from its entertainment value at all, as  Golden Tee 3D features not one, not two, but FIVE different Golden Tee titles to choose from, and which you can swap between at any moment. These games include Golden Tee ‘97, Golden Tee ‘98, Golden Tee ‘99, Golden Tee 2K, and Golden Tee Classic. Switching between these games is made easy with the cabinet’s on-screen menus.
